Alpha Lambda Service Project
On August 9,2018, eleven members of Alpha Lambda visited the Child & Family Services at the Richmond-Lockwood Mansion on Delaware Avenue. Theresa DeLuca. Corporate and Donor Relations Specialist greeted and escorted our group to the historic library. This impressive room was once filled with rare books collected by Thomas Lockwood, former owner. Current CEO and President, of Child & Family Services, Francisco Vasquez expressed his sincere appreciation for our many years of donations to Haven House. He further explained how the organization also offers counseling services, foster care, Falk School and Say Yes connection.
Following lunch Fran Romeo and Michelle Pagliaroli led the group in assembly of thirty bags of activity books that children can use while visiting and attending programs at Child & Family Services. Theresa thanked us for our generosity and said the bags will be delivered to Haven House.
